Open Commissions!

I've thought about this for awhile, and I think that it's time I do this. I am officially opening commissions here on DA. Commission time is often as short as a day to a week on small or medium commissions, to a month for complicated paintings. Exact times will be worked out depending on your requests, and will of course always be outlined prior to the start of any work or payments.

Commission FAQ:

    How many commission slots are currently open?

For the moment, I will take six simultaneous commissions. When a commission is finished, I will re-open the slot.

    What timeline are your commissions made on?

Basic sketches, and colored sketches will take one day to complete, once started. Simpler art may take a matter of hours. More complex sketches that include art may take an excess of a day. Lineart (clear or colored) will take an average of two days. Very complex lineart may take three or four. Note that CG coloring will usually increase time to completion. Digital paintings will take a minimum of two weeks, and very often a month. Very complicated pieces may take a few.

Altered art cards will take a minimum of a week, plus shipping time.

Please note commissions are first come first serve. Complicated pieces may be worked on simultaneously with others to limit time waiting and prevent backlogs of simpler work behind more complicated work, and some simpler requests may be completed quickly ahead of others, but most often it will be completed in order received for fairness. Consider those already listed when determining wait-time.

    How to commission?

PLEASE DO NOT REQUEST A COMMISSION IN THE COMMENTS: I WILL MISS IT.

  Progress reports?
On more complicated pieces, particularly the digital paintings, you may note me to request WIP shots to evaluate the art and decide if there's anything you'd like to change, as well as check the progress of an active work. Please no more than twice per week, and mind whether the art is currently active or queued.

  What is done with art after completion
DA safe art will be posted to my gallery. I may or may not offer full-size versions of larger work depending on your request, so please make your wishes clear. DA unsafe work will be uploaded to a service such as imgur and sent to you. I reserve the right to post my art wherever I feel appropriate, though only the size authorized. Exclusively displayed commissions MAY be offered at extra charge from time to time. If you wish, I can keep who commissioned the work anonymous.

Kink-art, even when it's DA appropriate (such as foot/etc) will not be posted to DA.

You may post the art wherever you wish other than DA, as long as proper credit remains. Commercial uses of art must be discussed ahead of time. Do not re-post to DA, instead link to my posting of it.

I will not post watermarked versions of my art.

Commissioned art is not up for stock usage by anyone other than the one who purchased it unless otherwise stated.

  :bademoticon: Payment methods
Paypal is strongly preferred. Snail mail only by exception. Point and subscription payments are also accepted in many cases, particularly if accompanying a cash commission or a repeat customer.

Payments under $10 are expected in full at time of acceptance. Payments over $10 will be accepted with half at time of acceptance and half at time of completion. Payments at time of completion are not accepted

DO NOT send me payment until both commission and method of payment are agreed upon!

Subscriptions may be substituted for $5, $7 and $30 charges if discussed ahead of time. DO NOT gift me with a subscription without prior discussion and assume it is payment for a commission. (Do not ever send me a note 'informing me' that this was your payment for a current, pending, or past commission. Any such gifts will be taken as a gift. Do not do this.)

Group discounts/rates may be worked out. Soft/hardcore hentai discounts may also be worked out depending on poses and complexity of picture.

Complex poses may incur an additional charge if multiple characters are present.

Partial characters may be added for free.

I reserve the right to decline any commission for any reason.
